Making Your Own Bath Bombs: A Fun and Easy DIY Project

Are you tired of spending a fortune on store-bought bath bombs? Well, why not make your own? Not only is it cost-effective, but it's also a fun and easy DIY project that you can do at home. In this blog post, we'll guide you through the process of making your own bath bombs from start to finish.

Step 1: Gather Your Ingredients To make your own bath bombs, you'll need the following ingredients:

  • 1 cup baking soda

  • 1/2 cup citric acid

  • 1/2 cup Epsom salt

  • 1/2 cup cornstarch

  • 2 1/2 tablespoons almond oil

  • 3/4 tablespoon water

  • Essential oils (optional)

  • Food coloring (optional)

Step 2: Mix Your Dry Ingredients In a large mixing bowl, combine the baking soda, citric acid, Epsom salt, and cornstarch. Make sure to mix well, so there are no clumps.

Step 3: Mix Your Wet Ingredients In a separate bowl, mix the almond oil, water, and any essential oils or food coloring you'd like to add. Stir until everything is well combined.

Step 4: Combine Your Ingredients Slowly pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients while continuously stirring. Mix well until the mixture is a crumbly texture that sticks together when pressed.

Step 5: Pack the Mixture into Molds Pack the mixture tightly into molds, such as cupcake tins, or other shapes of your choice.

Step 6: Let the Bath Bombs Dry Let your bath bombs dry for at least 24 hours before removing them from the molds. Once removed, let them continue to dry for another 24 hours before using.

And there you have it! Your very own homemade bath bombs. Now, all that's left to do is to draw yourself a nice warm bath and drop one in. Enjoy!
